I would highly recommend a tour vis Pukka travel. I was supposed to go to a phototour which was unfortunately canceled due to Arctic race (road were closed) and the agency offered alternatives. I chose a night hike to Kvalvika instead. The guide, Hubert, was very nice and easy going. I was the only one participant. The hike wasn’t very easy, but due to weather conditions but I felt safe. Appreciate the meal at the end of the hike. As from the agency, everything was perfect.

I took 3 tours with Pukka travels: this one, the Trollfjord cruise, and the Top 5 Photography tour. First, I must say that we absolutely loved Julie, Jenna, and Nick, our guides on these tours. They made every effort to make our trip wonderful and they succeeded. I recommend that folks ask for them when booking Pukka trips. Second, I have to say that the trips all ended up really nicely...but there were a few problems. On the hike to Kvalvika, the picture on the website described a rock jutting out over a cliff with a view of Kvalvika beach. Unfortunately, that wasn't part of the hike for some reason. That is a little like false advertising. Also, we were in a group with older, less active people, and they couldn't make the full trip. We eventually split off from them but didn't have enough time to get to the cliff rock. Julie tried to make it up to us on another day but the weather didn't cooperate that day. Another issue is that the Top 5 photography tour includes a photo of Reinebringen from the top, but that trail was closed while we were there. I booked the tour partly on the basis of that view. I think Pukka needs to be careful about advertising exactly what they are offering. Otherwise, it seems like false advertising. Also, our trip was July 4-7, and today is July 22 and we still have not received the photographs we were promised. As I said, our guides were 150% lovely and amazing, but the company needs to be careful about what they are promising and offering.
