This was one of the best wine tours I have ever taken. Vincent, the owner of Vino Loire Wine Tours, was our guide and was so accommodating. He explained everything so well that even the novice wine drinkers in the group stayed attentive and understood. We took a trip through the vineyard and he explained grape growing process, and in the caves with an explanation of the wine making and aging process We were also able to watch the degorgement of the second fermentation wine plug for champagne wine making (very cool). Both of the wineries we visited had excellent wines and he made sure that everyone tasted what the liked and as much as they wanted (around 8 wines at each location) There were cheeses and meats at both wineries to taste with the wines as he explained the wine and food pairing reasoning. The van was air conditioned and very clean. This was well worth the money and everyone should book this trip. Dr Bel

Vincent did a great job explaining the wine regions around Loire Valley, the wine making process for white, sparking and sweet wines, and host interesting tastings of locally produced wines. He studied wines so he’s got great knowledge about the subject. Overall, it was a pleasant, informative and memorable experience even though it was just a half day tour.
