Discover the significance of American culture in London from the comfort of a private London Black Taxi. I have been a London Taxi Driver since 1994 and I am also a qualified taxi guide.  See parts of London you may not have known about. Be amazed at just how much American influence there is to be seen in London and discover hidden gems that time has forgot. The tour focuses on two broad areas. • The Thames in the east of the city features the beginnings of the 13 colonies from 1606: On the south side, we will visit the iconic Mayflower and travel around London’s Blackwall, Rotherhithe and the pretty Shad Thames moving to the other side of the river to explore trendy Wapping and the City. • St. James’s and Mayfair in the West highlight the beginnings of the nation of the United States from the 1770s. We will visit the former home of one of the Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin. I will show you where the ratification of the Treaty of Paris was signed, and so much more.

Peter Peter Peter…There’s no guide like Peter. When in London/Liverpool and you want to see real historical places (not the London Tower etc) with a human encyclopedia (Peter) then there’s only one choice, Peter Mulcahy. Besides having a tremendous personality which will keep you on your toes all day you will go to places that really show you what England is like. Peter is now a friend for life. My wife and I had a blast (for 12hours…yes, 12 hours) while traveling around the countryside. After your tour, Peter sends you links about all the places you’ve seen so you don’t forget what a great day you had. Thank you, Peter, for a memorable and fun day! Matt & Marjori

Pete was a one of a kind tour guide. I was always skeptical of tours because I believed that all information and the best places could be found on the internet; I was wrong. Pete was incredibly informative, enthusiastic, and kind. One day with him and London is now one of my favorite cities I have ever visited. Not only did he show us the big attractions, but also took my friend and I to hidden gems. I told Pete what part of history I was interested in and he was able to tailor that to the group. I would recommend Pete and this tour to anyone.
