Die Tour war toll, vor allem weil man zwischen den drei Linien (rot, blau, gelb), die unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte haben, beliebig wechseln kann. So hat man die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Facetten von London zu sehen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Reiseführerin Emma, die uns auf der blauen Linie begleitet hat und mit netten Anekdoten aus ihrem Leben, die Informationen über London und was es gerade zu sehen gab, gut umrahmt hat.

Really excited to see the sights with family on our first visit to London, having purchased the tickets we stood waiting for the bus for almost 40 minutes before it finally arrived in the opposite side of the road even though we were waiting at a bus stop displaying the Golden Tours Sign, so a quick dash to the other side and we were finally on the bus. Got settled into the tour but the traffic was horrendous so took far too long getting round and the driver was having to force his way through the relentless rush. About half way round the bus pulled up and we were told that we were having a driver swap. After being sat there for 25 minutes I went downstairs to find out what was going on, only to find there were no staff members on the bus nor in sight in the street near the bus. Finally, another 10 minutes later, someone came onto the bus to check tickets but didn’t have a clue where the driver was or how long he would be. When the driver finally arrived, we got under way again but everyone on the bus almost ended up with whiplash due to the way he was stamping on the brakes. The delays we encountered, meant we didn’t have time to get off at buckingham palace so my daughter (10) was upset. When we got to Marble arch on the red route, he then took the wrong route, so when we asked to get off, he carried on for almost another half a mile until finally stopping. My partner has two broken toes and has issues with both knees, so walkng is very painful at the moment and we thought that this would be a great way to experience the sights however i would not say this experience was very good at all.

Great way to see the city. Sound narrative good along the the occasional in person dialog. Boat ride also very good. All busses clean and well kept along with the boat.
