Silvana is a fourth-generation artisan pasta maker from Naples. Her passion is to teach the dying art of making pasta entirely by hand, saving rare pasta shapes from disappearing and helping pasta lovers to recreate the authentic Italian experience, teaching techniques passed down to her by her family.

This class is conducted in the chef’s personal home. There are cats so be aware in case you are allergic. Although the host was friendly, it didn’t seem to be regulated for cleanliness and we weren’t aware that it was going to involve being in her personal space (inclusive of her kids walking around, watching tv, etc.) The whole thing felt uncomfortable and we should have just canceled it but felt like it would have been rude to do so.
