Was a late train, 22:40. Nice ladies welcomed me onto the platform. Train waiting, set off on time, was clean. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you.

Thanks to the Elizabeth Line's completion there is another rail service from London to Heathrow Airport; however, after a long international flight the ability to get on one train and go nonstop to Paddington station is a relatively small priced luxury. TIP if you have 60-day lead time, costs are really low. Book for the return at the same time.

The Heathrow Express cost 4 times as much as taking the Elisabeth line with your normal tap and go credit card. They are not faster and the rude lady at Paddington station closed the access point 2 minutes before the train departure time. This caused a lot of people to be late for their flights, when you ask her why, she just ignores you. NEVER AGAIN! Do not book Heathrow Express!!
