Despite the pageantry, these guards are serious about their duty and remain focused on protecting the King, even amid attempts to distract them. Please note that the Changing of the Guard currently occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays only. On alternate days, we will see the Changing of the Guard at the Horse Guards Parade instead. Your tour will conclude near Buckingham Palace, from where our guide will be happy to make recommendations on local must see's or eateries

This was a wonderful experience. We had Andy, (Andrew, as our guide). He really was great and helpful. He really made history come alive, and found us a great spot for the Changing of the Guard. Our only problem was finding him amongst all the other tours going on. "The Tour Guide" flag was not very prominent. Viator should advise, underline and put in bold print, the importance of arriving at least 15-20 minutes before the start time of the tour, so as to meet up with "The Tour Guide" well in advance. It is not fun having to wait for latecomers, especially in 94F heat! I highly recommend this tour.

Hard to hear because there were no headsets and it was a large group. Headsets should be mandatory. Makes the whole experience much better!

Tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and fun. The only issue I had was with the headset - it would stay looped over my ear.
