Despite the pageantry, these guards are serious about their duty and remain focused on protecting the King, even amid attempts to distract them. Please note that the Changing of the Guard currently occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays only. On alternate days, we will see the Changing of the Guard at the Horse Guards Parade instead. Your tour will conclude near Buckingham Palace, from where our guide will be happy to make recommendations on local must see's or eateries

Excellent tour of Westminster Abbey and Westminster. Changing of the Guards was disappointing - didn’t get to see much of the ceremony except one set of guards march by on the outskirts a few hundred yards from Buckingham Palace. I’d book a tour of Westminster but do the changing of the guards on my own.

What a lovely day! Our guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the history. We enjoyed it very much. Only thing we’d change is less time watching changing of the guard and more time in St. James park (felt like we ran through it at fevers pitch).

Great tour guide. I learned a lot more than I would have on my own. He knew how to maneuver our group through the crowds. It was woth the money.
