Unfortunately, we were looking forward to this theatre production and we came out of it being very disappointed. The acting was bland and tasteless, and the script was largely boring. We are fans of Agatha Christie, so we were expecting to be impressed and shocked by the 'whodunnit' mystery, but we predicted the murderer by the end of the first act, because it was very obvious and not at all subtle. However, it must be said that the costumes were brilliant and the set was stunning and very apt, given the time period. During the middle of the performance there was very loud music from somewhere outside of the theatre, but the actors handled it very gracefully, and it wasn't a big issue.
