British Punk was born in the Kings Road Chelsea but came of age in the clubs and dives of Soho and the surrounding area. Soho was a very different area in the mid seventies so join your guide Aidan McManus as he brings it to life and introduces you to the seminal historic punk characters and sites. The Clubs, Marquee, Vortex, 100 Club, Roxy, Louise's and Notre Dame Hall, Strip club gigs, inspirational market stalls and boozers,where was the first Sex Pistols gig? Crash pads, Lesbian club hangouts and The Jam having run ins with the law, this tour has it all!! The tour lasts two hours but the walking part takes less than half of it as we stop and I talk about the above places, its not a trek, it goes ahead whatever the weather.

What a tour! Everything you ever wanted to know about the 70s punk era wrapped up in one tour , Aiden tells it like it was with a wealth of knowledge and passion for let's face the best music scene to ever emerge from the streets of London, loads of famous and not so familiar places visited and explained in detail of how important they were to shaping the music scene of that time....brilliant! Would have happily done another 2 hours....made 4 guys from Merthyr tydfil very happy.

When my son booked this tour I couldn't wait for it and it didn't disappoint, Aiden was a great tour guide and his knowledge about the punk scene was excellent, the pubs and clubs which were used by the bands brought back so many memories Aidens own personal stories were great to hear and quite funny,highly recommend this tour thanks for making an old punk very happy.
