Had a great time on this tour… Dan was our guide and was full of interesting information about all of the sites with a little bit of mixed in humor. Dan if you happen to read this… Well done!
If you’re into history, you’ll have a great time on this tour. We learned a great deal about the interesting and often chaotic, quirky, history of London and its inhabitants.
The tour takes you by some of the major tourist areas like Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing St., Parliament Square, Big Ben etc but my favorite part was wandering the streets and learning about all of the different social clubs, businesses, and random facts and stories of people from the past. It really brought them to life.
As this is an outdoor walking tour, your enjoyment may be affected by the weather, so plan accordingly. And for those looking to get those steps in for the day… You’ll get them here
Unexpectedly on our tour, I caught a glimpse of the King in his motorcade, as he was heading back to Buckingham. Very cool!
The Churchill war rooms were also very interesting but if I had a second chance at this, I would have booked a private tour with a guide as the audio guide that comes with a standard ticket was kind of difficult and tedious to navigate.

Excellent Adventure
Nicholas was one of the best guides we have ever had in a tour. He was engaging, humorous, knowledgeable, accommodating and loved answering questions.
Put on your walking shoes- it’s about 2miles overall but doesn’t feel like it.
Great way to spend the afternoon.
