Our tour guide, Damon Fordham did an amazing job of telling so many stories of African Americas heroes. So many stories that you cannot find in textbooks and are not taught as part of American history. This is a must do whenever you are in Charleston. We highly recommend this tour!

Professor Fordham is a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding the 'back stories' of Charleston. His objective is to share bits of the Charleston story that are not easily uncovered or taught. The tour was the perfect length and he was an entertaining leader, we heard impressions of historical features and we were treated to several songs on his Melodica. I would encourage any one interested in the black experience to join his tour.
