Our tour guide, Damon Fordham, was very knowledgeable and a real showman. He played relevant songs along the way on his melodica to introduce various stopping points, answered any and all questions and was able to speak from personal experience and research.

My wife and I had an amazing time immersing ourselves in the Black History of Charleston during our first anniversary weekend! Damon's presentation and mastery of the history is unmatched, and gave both my wife and me and additional motivation to continue our educational work. This was easily a life changing tour that I would recommend to anyone! We purchased all of his books afterwards.
