The guide seemed very knowledgeable. But we felt we were rushed to the top and then spend 30 minutes I one room looking at the same paintings

Worth every penny to hear some of the stories live. And getting in and through was a breeze. Guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Unfortunately I’m horrible at remembering names so I can’t name him here.

The tour was cancelled by the tour operator in the early hours of the morning on the day we were to have had the tour. The notification came overnight by email and gave no reason for the cancellation. Life happens, so you take the rough with the smooth. What made this hard for us was that no alternative method of access was offered or suggested by the tour company - something that was within their expertise to do. We had to investigate and work it out ourselves, and put in place the alternative arrangements within a matter of a couple of hours. This lack of service on top of the short notice of cancellation left a sour taste in the mouth, so to speak.
