Our personal guide, Antoine, was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history behind the beautiful treasures within the Louvre as well as the fascinating backstory of the building itself and the many transformations it has undergone over the centuries, which we enjoyed tremendously. We found Antoine to be very personable and engaging, and well-prepared. The private tour was perfect for us because it allowed us to interact with Antoine on a personal level and share our own thoughts about the artworks and receive additional knowledge from him that we otherwise would not have obtained if we were in a larger group. We highly recommend Antoine as a guide. It was the best tour of the Louvre that we have ever experienced and we doff our caps off to Antoine and LivTours.
