You will have an interactive cooking class and ‘bamboo weaving’ exercise, learn about the importance of the ubiquitous bamboo plant to Lao culture. Would you like to see the process of Bamboo weaving and traditional Lao cooking class using bamboo shoot as main ingredient? Spend half a day in our workshop, it’s located in a local village in Luang Prabang town.

We loved this experience! The place was absolutely beautiful and very quiet. The people who welcomed us during the activity were great. Everyone spoke very good English, and was very friendly. We learned a lot about bamboo, its use and even made our own coaster! It's a great souvenir to take home. Also the food we prepared was excellent and I look forward to making it again at home! In addition to that, the organizers are invested in their community and do their best to involve the locals. They're very good people. I totally recommend this activity, and had a great half day!

The people running the tour were very knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the cooking class and would’ve liked to have done a little bit more of that.

We thoroughly enjoyed the various activities included in the Bamboo Experience. We learned a lot and laughed a lot, (especially at ourselves) in this very participatory outing. It also gave us a chance to get away from the crowds and enjoy the peaceful nearby countryside.
