Do you want to experience the El Yunque Rain Forest off the beaten path and have the freedom of your own transport? If you love nature, this is a must-do! Follow your guide in your own vehicle from meeting point to our hidden gem in the rainforest. Once arrived, let us take you on a 25 min. hike, off the beaten path to a hidden natural water park, to swing through the rain forest on ropes and shoot down a huge natural water slide into the clear pools of the river. If you like a rush, we will take you to 4 cliff jumps up to 32ft high. Besides all the fun and excitement, you are also invited to relax and simply enjoy the peace of nature at this unique location. Safety Requirements & Limitations: • Must be physically capable of walking through steep, rocky, muddy trails, and have the balance to walk by uneven surfaces without assistance. • Pregnant ladies past their first trimester, persons with previous injuries, back problems or recent surgery should not participate in this tour.

This was my second trip with Across Caribe tour. My first was 6 years ago, and when we scheduled our trip for PR, I knew I wanted to use Across Caribe for another rainforest tour. We went to a different part of the rainforest. When we travel, we love to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Sayed was a wonderful guide and showed us unique parts of the island. Our tour was probably the last before the shut down and we felt very safe on our tour. I highly recommend this trip. Bring waterproof shoes that stay on well. The hike was very muddy. I also recommend bringing a change of clothes after swimming. Enjoy!

Wonderful tour, wonderful guide. We were delayed in traffic arriving at the pick-up point, but were accommodated graciously when we called the office from our traffic jam. The guide kept up a non-stop description and explanation of all things relating to Puerto Rico history, culture, and environment. The hike was relatively easy with a few challenging spots, managed with a helpful hand by our thoughtful guide Rafael Alejandro. We all had a lovely time relaxing at the river and enjoyed an authentic Puerto Rican lunch at the end.

Our guide was Jean. Highly energetic and very passionate about plants, we learned a ton about the history on certain plants and their uses while hiking between rope swings and waterfalls. The trip itself was fantastic but if you are not athletic I would stay in town. You have to scale 3 ft high root sections / use a rope to climb up the side of a rock / and overall my entire body hurts after the trip. Beyond that this trip really gives you the Puerto Rico experience. Beautiful rainforest. Beautiful water. Rope swings and natural water slides are the best time you’ve had since you were a kid.
