    We drive along the Petruss Casemates, the ruins of the medieval fortress of Luxembourg. These Casemates are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. They date back to the time when the Spanish modernized the medieval fortifications and built large bastions such as the Bastion Beck, on whose plateau lies the present Constitution Square. They have been open to the public since 1933.

    During the city train ride, participants will pass the made of glass panoramic lift in the old town of Pfaffenthal.
  • Le Chemin de la Corniche, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
    The Chemin de la Corniche runs along the Alzette vally on the ramparts from the Bock Promontory up to the lower part of the Holy Ghost Citadel, the so-called Rondellen.
  • Les Rives de Clausen, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
    The so-called Rives de Clausen form a district of bars and restaurants, established on the site of the former Luxembourg beer brewery “Mousel”. Situated along the Alzette, the Rives de Clausen appeal to a wide variety of tastes and attract a very cosmopolitan public, which is typical for Luxembourg. The Rives de Clausen are also part of a larger plan to enhance the suburbs of the former fortress.
  • Plateau du Rham, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
    The Rham Plateau proudly overlooks three sides of the Alzette valley and offers a stunning view of the old city of Luxembourg. It has been an integral part of Luxembourg’s fortifications since the 15th century and was later expanded by Vauban with four imposing military barracks, currently used as modern and comfortable housing for seniors. Take the opportunity to stop for a few minutes, stroll amongst the century-old plane trees, and walk up to the promontory behind the ruins of the four towers. Once at the top, you will have a breathtaking view of the old fortifications, the Holy-Ghost Citadel and the Corniche.

Fabulous tour!! 1/2the price of hop one-off bus tour but worth twice the price! It was a great way to see the lower town and audio was very informative - loved the voice of a little boy. The 2 voices kept my attention.

Llegamos a la hora en punto al lugar de salida y no había ningun tren. Por lo visto, salió antes de su hora. Lo supimos porque el siguiente tren, que llegò a la parada pero no hacía mas recorridos, llamó al conductor de nuestro tren y se lo comentó. Suponemos que para acabar antes. Una pésima gestion entre la empresa decresrvas y los conductores, que menos que comprobar que tienes a todas las personas con reservas en el tren, si quieres salir antes. Un desastre y espero que me reitengren el dinero.

Zug fuhr 5 Minuten später ab. Bandansage nicht immer zu den Gebäuden. Es bestand nicht die Möglichkeit an den 2 Zwischenhaltestellen ein oder auszusteigen. Ich hätte mir auch Informationen über neue Trends und Viertel erhofft.
