    The monument to Grand Duchess Charlotte is a bronze statue designed by the French sculptor Jean Cardot (* 1930) and placed on Clairefontaine Square in 1990 in honor of the former Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg (1895–1985), sovereign from 1919 to 1964 was established in Luxembourg (city) . Officially inaugurated on April 29, 1990 in the presence of the grand ducal family, the 2.75 m high work of art stands on a flat, round base, which in turn rests on a plate-shaped base. The figure, executed in simplified forms, is shown wrapped in a wide cloak from which the right arm protrudes with the palm of the hand turned to the sky as if in greeting. Since this gesture could also be interpreted as a begging hand, the monument is also nicknamed " Heeschefraa " (beggar woman) in the vernacular .

It's a very nice way to explore a city, learning some interesting details at the same time you are having fun. I might also highlight the super fast response from the team to support me with a technical issue. For sure I will repeat in the next city :)

This was a well thought out route that highlighted the best bits of this stunning but compact little city. The story was interesting and the clues were cleverly designed and certainly got our grey cells working, all the while allowing us to enjoy the splendid views and lovely historic buildings. Well worth it!

Es war eine wundervolle Route mit allen wichtigen Details, um die Stadt zu erkunden! Traumhaft schön! Einen Minuspunkt für eine Frage. In der deutschen Version muss man eine Antwort in Englisch statt Deutsch eintragen. Das war seltsam.
