    Mina was a fabulous tour guide in our trip down the Nile to tour the temples of southern Egypt. He was incredibly knowledgeable, as well as courteous and fun, shepherding us through all the marvels of ancient Egypt on a very relaxed, flexible schedule where we didn’t have to worry about any of the details. He really enhanced our experience by explaining both stories and background behind many of the incredibly well preserved hieroglyphs on the temples, noting even the small details of each characters’ headdress and what it meant about their position and importance in the Egyptian pantheon. As a local from Luxor, his passion for the history of his region definitely made the entire experience much more meaningful, and I would highly recommend him to any American tourist wanting to get the most out of their trip to southern Egypt.

    We truly appreciated that our guide Mina delivered the ideal mix of explanations and letting us just wander around, so that you don’t feel like a kid on a schooltrip! He proposed different additional excursions - but didn’t force them upon us. Overall great experience with a guide that made us feel comfortable and safe. Trip and guide highly recommended!

    Cost of beveridges was quite expensive. Food was very nice. Staff were friendly. relaxing last day heading towards the lock.
