We would like to thank our Driver/Host Mr.Eddie for his honesty, professionalism, knowledge, friendliness and punctuality during our lovely visit to Luxor in November 2022. During our Airport Transfers he explained the lovely sights and gave us a host of information. Moreover, he arranged excellent Egyptologists in Luxor & Cairo, who enlightened us about this interesting country.He regularly checkup on us via WhatsApp ???? Hamdi came highly recommended by my friends who found him on trip advisor, and I was really glad I went with Hamdi. I was a solo traveller and am allergic to being touted, and Hamdi is an honest person - he didn't try to earn commission for himself at the restaurant or shops he brought me to. In fact, he puts the customer first, above his Egyptian friends who are trying to make a living and I really appreciated that about him - he helped me to get egyptian prices for food and for anything I bought that day. We started at 6:30am (which he recommended), he brought me to a great local Egyptian restaurant for lunch upon my request, and I finished the sights on the west bank before 3pm. He could have called it a day, instead he asked me if there was anything else I wanted to do. He then brought me to an alabaster shop and an Egyptian cotton shop, upon my request, both of which he said had fair prices and I never felt pressurized to buy anything I didn't want. He then got me delicious sugarcane juice and falafel, drove me to the bus station to change my bus ticket before dropping me off at the ferry around 5pm. I had a fantastic day on the west bank because of Hamdi and I'm really grateful! (He also offered to pick me up the next day to get me to my bus back to Hurghada before he started his day trip with other tourists.)
