The essential visit to the temples of Horus, Kom Ombo and Khnum when you are in Luxor. They are three of the most beautiful temples outside of Luxor city. Kom Ombo is one of the nicest temple in honor of two 2 gods Sobek and Horus. This temple has numerous engravings and paintings on its walls and columns that are worth admiring carefully. Also noteworthy are the Mammisi de Horus and the chapel of Hathor, where you can see several mummified crocodiles. We did this trip with the driver Amr Samir. It was really great. Amr was so helpful and kind! In our case, we decided to end the trip in Aswan rather than coming back to Luxor. The travel agency made a stop where we wanted and did not stop in (unwanted) shops. Trips (we did also another trip) with this agency are highly recommend!

It’s very well worth it . We decided to stay some days more in Luxor to go to Esna, Aswan … Mostafa was our driver , it was a pleasant journey to the temples in his company, very friendly. He waited for us in each stop. My tip : visit Horus temple , it is amazing.
