RN7 Road Trip - Private Multi Day Madagascar Tour

I had the good fortune of taking a magnificent solo 28 day private Madagascar Tour with Eric Rado. Madagascar is a country full of wonderful cultural diversity and experiences. There were so many highlights that I cannot pick a favorite. I loved meeting the local people. They were always so warm and friendly. The country is teeming with animal and plant life not seen anywhere else in the world. I wanted to experience and see as much as possible. My experience surpassed my expectations. Eric’s company provides tours for both solo and group travelers. However, since I was traveling a long distance, I wanted a longer than usual tour. Eric was very accommodating and made great suggested changes to my itinerary based on what I wanted to do and see. The entire trip couldn’t have been planned better. Eric is an excellent guide. He is honest, reliable, and very knowledgeable about his country. He speaks multiple languages, including English. Tinah (also a former guide) was the driver throughout the entire trip. The toads in Madagascar can be difficult, but I always felt comfortable with his driving ability. Every evening, Tinah performed routine maintenance on the vehicle, to ensure it was in good operating condition and clean for the following day. Eric and Tinah ensured my safety and comfort was paramount throughout the trip. At one stage, my knee gave me some difficulty. A full day was planned hiking in a hilly and mountainous national park. Knowing the difficulty of the hike, Eric and Tinah collaborated, and came up with a viable proposed suggestion for the day that my knee could handle. It was the perfect solution, both for my knee and my interests. Madagascar is a special place that I will always cherish and never forget, thanks to Eric and Tinah. We travelled with Boutique Travel Experts last summer along the RN7 Route in Madagascar. It was so magical and wonderful. We were well looked after. Loved Isalo and absolutely adored Anakao at the end. These places are so authentic and beautiful. The guide spoke perfect English and we had a great company. I had a doubt about driving in Madagascar, but in the end we made many stops along the way and there was plenty of things to see and do. Go for it, pure adventure!
