Introducing Funchal to the World - Food & Cultural tour Prepare yourself for a sensory journey across the island. On this 4 hour tour, our qualified local guide will led you on this food,wine and cultural experience trough the streets of Funchal, to off the beaten path places, to taste a variety of local specialties. Darlene did a great job. she is very knowledgeable and very informative. it was a full 4-Hour experience of food and wine. Food coverage was comprehensive with wine perhaps on the light side (One choice of red white or Rose.).

The tour is professional and well-organized and our guide was very good. We saw some interesting places and learned about local foods. We would recommend this as a nice way to see Funchal and experience Madeira.

If you’re visiting Madeira and love food, a food tour is an absolute must and ours exceeded every expectation. We joined cecilia the guided walking food tour in Funchal and spent several hours tasting our way through the city’s rich culinary history. From the moment it started, our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about Madeiran culture, food and wine.
