    This is where we all meet to begin the tour. Here, our guide will explain the day's itinerary and give some basic logistical information. Here we'll also board the transportation service to go to the stargazing location which will take around 1 hour. Right next to this meeting spot, you can see the Cristiano Ronaldo Statue.
  • Parque Ecológico do Funchal, 9050 Portugal
    Our transportation service will drop us at the Madeira Observatory parking lot. Few meters from here is our stargazing location. Our guide will start with an introduction on the place, the equipment and safety. After we will start the guided observation of the night sky, pointing at constellations, star navigation, nebulas and other cosmic objects. Travelers also have the opportunity to use astronomical binoculars and equipment for a better experience. Finally travelers have the chance to practice astrophotography.

    We'll meet again at the Observatory Parking Lot to return to Funchal to our original meeting point. Transportation will take around 40 minutes

We had a wonderful moment with Juan ! His contagious enthusiasm making the experience even more enjoyable. The location's pristine sky and lack of light pollution provided a breathtaking view of constellations, shooting stars, and even planets. I highly recommend this unforgettable celestial adventure to anyone visiting Madeira!

I went with my girlfriend, and it was absolutely magical! We had the best time observing various stars, learning tons about space exploration and astronomy from Juan, and just being there away from the city. There were some clouds occasionally, but it didn't take away from the trip at all, so we would definitely come back again :)

Surpriseful nice moment with some friends on Madeira, learning many things about stars, planets and observations tricks ! The sky up here was so clear, you end up feeling very small on this island somewhere in space ????
