    Check in at our office, join a one-hour walking tour through the narrow streets of the historic center of Madrid and discover emblematic places that you cannot miss. Enjoy the Plaza de la Villa, the famous Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Oriente. Next, hop aboard one of our air-conditioned buses for a ride through the city. Remember to bring your camera or Smartphone! Depart from the Plaza de Oriente towards the magnificent Puerta de Toledo. Did you know that its construction dates from the Napoleonic occupation era? Once again on the bus you will be able to contemplate the oldest bridge in Madrid and, next to the Manzanares river, you will have spectacular views of the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral. We will cross the Calle Mayor towards Puerta del Sol and Las Cortes on the way to Paseo del Prado. Admire the architecture of the heart of old Madrid arriving at the Barrio de las Letras.

The walking tour was great, the bus tour was ok and the Royal Palace tour was very good. We ended up having to wait 1/2 hour between the walking/bus tour and the palace tour because Robert had to go back to the office to get additional tourists. That was a waste of time for us and it there is no place on the palace grounds to sit or rest. Robert was very informative and worked well with the group given he was giving the tour in both Spanish and English. We thought it was an English only tour.
