So glad to see Toledo, but very disappointed in the "Full Day" bus tour from Madrid by Yellow Tours. Granted this was not an expensive venture ($177 for 2). However description was vague and most of us expected: bus to and from, information/ narration on the 45 minute ride, and guided tour to 3 historic sites. Instead, no narration on a bus without even a paper copy of the agenda let alone any WiFi to prepare.
Once in near Toledo a bathroom drop was really a tourist jewelry store. Then back on the bus that had no markings to say Yellow Tour and taken to the historic city center. A guide had very broken English, though we appreciated her efforts, and explained she would only guide us through the cathedral. No other guiding to other sites. No accessible WiFi so difficult to determine the distances and best use of time. The return bus loading was chaotic again without clear signage. Although tickets for admissions to 4 other sites was "included" it felt like a bait and switch since all those are actually free.
Suggest doing the regional bus, download a good street map, hire a local guide and arrive early before heat and Sun. Just disappointed as the tour has the bones of a reasonable tour, but the operation was frustrating and unclear.
I will pay closer attention to the company and would like to see the company name consistently on tickets.
