Our guide, Abner Deyvis met my daughter and I promptly at the meeting place. We were one of the first ones to get in the museum. He showed us Bosch's The Garden Earthly Delights and symbolism. I enjoyed his lively description of the veiled bust of Isabelle II. I was pleasantly surprised with the Mona LIsa and he showed us the difference between the one at the Louvre. I enjoyed seeing the 16 Black Goya paintings which are morbid and different. He moved the tour moving without rushing. Deyvis was professional and knowledgeable and I learned a lot from his tour.

La visita no dura hora y media porque hay que esperar la cola, pasar el escaner y a la hora y poco habíamos terminado. Las explicaciones de los cuadros muy bien pero creo que es miy poco tiempo

The Prado is a big place but our guide Ruben and his associate gave us an interesting 90 minute introduction. Ruben gave us insights to the works we were looking at; he didn’t simply replicate the dry facts. Once the guided tour is finished the rest of the Prado is yours for the day. Well worth the price we paid.
