Followed by a visit to a deli over 180 years old, here we'll sample two types of Iberian ham, manchego cheese and extra virgin olive oil. You'll dine on a classic deep fried squid sandwich, a local favorite. We'll eat one outstanding tapa and share a bottle of Spanish cider. Taste a vermouth with the tapa of the day, a favourite with the locals. Finish the tour inside a restaurant that is located inside an 18th century building with a piece of Spanish omelette and the Secret Dish that changes every day.

Jorge was excellent as a guide with a lot of information, but! After doing many food walks around the world this one was extremely disappointing in terms of the variety of food, number of tapas and quantity, hardly any vegetarian options (after being warned). I do think it seems like quite a rip off in terms of food but as a guide Jorge was very good.

My wife and I did 3 different food tours in Europe, Rome, Paris and here in Madrid. Here in Madrid, Adriadna was our guide and this was hands down our favorite tour! She was so informative and passionate about the food, culture and history of Madrid! This was our third day in Madrid and she went into a lot of detail and took us to some of the best spots we would not have even thought to have walked into. Food and drinks were amazing! We loved that they specialize in smaller groups as we were able to get more personalized attention as well. I highly recommend this tour with Adriadna for your first day when you arrive so you know where to go and what to eat the rest of your trip. She was very helpful in recommending other restaurants and places to visit while in Madrid. Def a must do when you first arrive in Madrid!

Loved this tour. Jorge does such a fabulous job. As a vegetarian, I am always concerend about food tours but Jorge made sure I had something to eat at every stop and made sure there was enough for the group. Jorge only brough us to family owned businesses and had great stories about the owners. He had intersting information about the food and also Madrd. Highly recommend.
