    11:30 AM - Arrival in Mai Chau • Arrive in Mai Chau at Lac Village. • Explore colorful traditional crafts in Lac Village. 12:30 PM - Lunch • Relax and enjoy a wonderful lunch with a local Thai family. After Lunch - Bicycle Ride and Village Exploration • Take a bicycle ride with the guide. • Watch the peaceful scene of farmers working in the fields. • See locals weaving scarves. • Visit surrounding villages. • The villagers are mostly White Thai, distantly related to tribes in Thailand, Laos, and China. • Most villagers no longer wear traditional dress, but Thai women are masterful weavers producing traditional-style textiles. • Enjoy polite bargaining with locals as strong-arm sales tactics are not employed here.

Biking through the rice patties. It was easy to take a wonderful picture. People were friendly. The meal we had was great. Only negative was that my friend was charged $20 to ride the little tram because she couldn't bike. No where did it say she would have to pay extra. So be warned.

The itinerary is not as advertised : the departure time back from Mai Chau to Hanoi is 3pm instead of 4pm-4:30pm as advertised. I told the guide and he just didn’t care. I will request a refund. On top of this the pickup happened 30 minutes later than mentioned (despite being a Sunday morning, no traffic). Simply a bad company, with so many options in Hanoi better to go with another company.

ホームステイでのご飯が想像より美味しい。ヴィーガンメニューありました！お米本当に美味しい！自転車で村をみて回ってハイキングしたり写真で見ていたよりも綺麗な景色です。地元のガイドさんなので現地の生活を沢山知ってます！いい時間でした！
