    Stop for scenic photo of Muong tribes at Thung Khe Pass. You also spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley. Thung Khe Pass is an impressive mountain pass in Mai Chau. You drive over this pass when you go to Mai Chau from Hanoi and head towards Moc Chau. Many people who driver over this pass don’t know the name but it is a very special ride. Close to the top of the mountain pass, you will find here a number of small restaurants and shops, with thatched roofs, a few tables, chairs and hot teapots ready for the guests who stop. These shops are close to the abyss and are also called the Thung Khe market. Buses from Hanoi often stop here for something to eat and enjoy the view. It can be very chill and when you are unlucky you are in the clouds so you don’t have a view. On the “market” you can buy food and things that come directly from the area.

My group had a wonderful tour to Mai Chau. Having only 1 day free in Hanoi, I booked this Day trip and I was happy with that. Although it was a long drive (3 hours each way); i think it was worth and i really enjoyed the trip. My group had a nice tour guide, experienced driver. Lunch in a local homestay was perfect. My group really enjoyed the biking around the peaceful village.

I booked a Private Day Trip to Mai Chau for my family and we had a great experience. It was a really wonderful time to ride a bike through villages, rice fields, meeting friendly people in the villages. Our tour guide was so nice and helpful. After 3hour drive from Hanoi, we reached Mai Chau and had a nice lunch in a local family. All in all, we loved the tour so much

My family booked a Day tour to Mai Chau valley and we really enjoyed it. The trip was very great. We loved peaceful lanscapes of the area while biking around some villages. Having a tasty lunch in an ethnic minority house was a nice experience. The people here are so friendly. Highly recommended
