Recline and relax in Malaga’s heavenly Hammam Al Ándalus, a luxurious Arabian baths located near the old Medina. This was a highlight of my recent visit to Malaga. We opted for the basic package, enjoyed a 15 min massage, but our real motivator was to relax in the baths. First we took a short shower and waited for 5-10 minutes in the upstairs relaxing pool, before a member of the Hammam staff collected us for the massage. Next another shower to rinse away the massage oil, and then a progression through the bath house (cold, moderate, hot, hot stone and steam room). The number of guests is managed carefully at all times, so we never felt overcrowded. The ambience was peaceful and unhurried, the lighting was gentle (mostly candlelit lanterns) and tea/water were continuously available. We spent around 2 hours in total, and everything is thoughtfully provided (towels, products, even a waterproof bag for your swimsuit). Highly recommended, enjoy the indulgence.

It was a good experience, very relaxing. Massage, the steam room and the hot water pool were very nice. We didn’t get to experience the hot rocks as there was a treatment in that area. We had a 15 minute massage, would recommend 30 minutes.
