Recline and relax in Malaga’s heavenly Hammam Al Ándalus, a luxurious Arabian baths located near the old Medina. Head inside to unwind and spend 1.5 hours at leisure in the opulently designed thermal baths and steam room. Sip on mint tea, while away time in the baths, and then head to the Aroma Corner for a 15-minute massage or 30-minute massage with an exfoliating scrub. Alternatively, upgrade to a Midra purifying massage that exfoliates and stimulates circulation.

It’s a very scheduled experience - from the minute you arrive you are herded around the different locations of the Hammam, I very much expected a relaxed spa experience but it felt very militant whilst also being poorly explained where to go for your massage and when to go. The massage itself was ok, we were asked what type of massage and we both said firm and it was very weak but relaxing in the environment. The setting itself if very unique and feels very zen however it also felt a bit like a cult and that you were walking into the vampires lair but once you accepted it for what it is we enjoyed the relaxing in the hot Hammam, hot stone (warm) and steam room. No where to lay down and relax on a bed or anything so don’t expect that type of spa. All in all a bit of a strange experience but if a friend asked me id warn them of the above as I think if I knew what to expect and what not to then I’d have enjoyed and appreciated it more
