    8h30: We depart from MALAGA ACTIVA TOURS meeting point in the city center: calle cerezuela n3. 50 min drive in the 8 passangers van. 9h20: We start the hike in Caminito del Rey. We discover the natural park, the landscape, wildlife and history. Easy hike, no steep. Multiple stops for explanations and photos. 12h15: Finish of the walk. Picnic time with some local products. 12h45: We take the shuttle bus of the natural park. 13h15: Drive back to Malaga with the van. 14h15: Finish of the excursion in Malaga city center.

Best adventure of our 3 week tour in Spain. Alfonso is great, speaks English very well, answers all your many questions about Spain and Spanish customs. Our group of 8 got along very well, the pace of the trip was just perfect for us (70 and 72 year olds, the oldest in the group), as we were all so awed by nature and man’s achievements that we dawdled often to gaze and take photos. You will get a break to sit and enjoy some cheese, chorizo and bread. So my advice is don’t hesitate to book this tour with Alfonso of Activa Tours. He takes care of all the details for you so you have no worries.

As soon as I saw pictures of Caminito del Rey I knew we had to do it. I found this tour by looking through TA and it did not disappoint. Alfonso was on time picking us up in Malaga in a well kept minivan. This is a small group tour with 8 on our tour. We were quite lucky in that it was a sunny, blue skies, pleasant temp kind of day. The hike was gorgeous! Alfonso explained the history of the area and also brought water/snacks for us to enjoy while taking a break at about the halfway point. I would definitely recommend both the hike and guide!

We enjoyed the small group experience. Alfonso had a lot of knowledge about the history, which we appreciated. A small picnic lunch was provided along the way.
