British overseas territory located on a small peninsula on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, bordering only Spain. It is historically recognized as the southernmost point of Europe and is also strategically located at the western end of the Mediterranean, forming one of the ancient columns of Hercules. The rock is mainly Jurassic limestone about 200 million years old. Once our coach reaches the Rock, we shall visit the Apes den, the Saint Michael Caves and some time at leisure for tax free shopping in Main Street or search for some hidden gems such as the Gibraltar Museum or the narrow streets and old buildings of the old town.

Enjoyed just visiting Gibraltar -it was on our bucket list. The Rock experience with the apes and the cave tour. The music and lights worked well to convey a majestic experience. Impressed at the multi-language guide. Very helpful with all of the information needed to get through customs.

Purchased a Saturday ticket, per information provided went to the pick up point. Waited for an hour. No bus showed up. 20 mins in, I messaged the company directly. Mind you it was 730 in the morning on a Saturday. The company didn’t messaged me back until 10am stating they don’t do the tours on Saturdays. So I don’t know how the ticket could have been sold, but it was. Viator is sending me a refund, but is still pending business days.
