    The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, was built in the 13th century. It is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and it is the most renowned building of the Andalusian Islamic historical legacy. Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, demolished part of the architectural complex to build the Palace which bears his name in the 16th century.

    The Generalife is a garden area attached to the Alhambra which became a place of recreation and rest for the Granada Muslim kings. The Generalife gardens are also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We were scheduled to go the day of the Sahara sand storm and pouring rain. We were cautioned to not be outside during these conditions due to poor air quality. I tried to cancel but was told no! I can't subject myself to unhealthy conditions and the tour should have been canceled.

Guiden i Alhabra, Carmen, var mycket professionell och kunde berätta massor om historia, religion osv. Det kunde ha varit bra att veta före avfärden att efter kl 9 kaffepaus, stannade vi på en rastplats kl 16, så kunde man ha tagit med något ätbart.

Delayed pickups due to people not being ready. Set off from Calahonda at 6.45 - due for pick up at 6.25. many pick-up and delays before got on journey. Unclear regards the schedule for the day. On arrival at Grenada unclear whether we had a guided tour of town or not! Guide raced us up to centre of town and left us! My friend had reduced mobility and no accommodation allowed for this so lost guide.similar issues when at Alhambra. Not suitable for reduced mobility - this should have been advised in advance. Tour guide and driver rude to us on return to coach as they were ready to leave. We arrived at pre arranged time. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO ON A JULIA TOUR. TERRIBLE AND OVER PRICED.
