Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures. Closed for 3 days on Thaipusam Festive (the day before, during and the day after festive) At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at Kuala Lumpur City Hotel

Today we were picked up by our lovely driver and guide Maran who took us around for our half day tour. He was full of knowledge, pointing out places of interest, explaining the culture and answering our questions. He even stopped off to show us some rubber trees and how you get the latex off the tree. He cut into a pod to show us a rubber tree seed and it was really fascinating. The Royal Selangor Pewter factory was a lot more interesting than we thought it was going to be and the hand painted fabric place was also quite fascinating. We really enjoyed the Batu Caves and Temple with all the monkeys and views and even saw a little snake on the steps. Maran was an excellent guide and had very good knowledge. He was friendly and reliable and explained everything really well. I can highly recommend this tour and Maran (seen in the picture below).
