They should carry water and wear comfortable shoes. I was happy to see the cleanliness of the place.

Confusing system. Instructions is unclear about how you get your ticket. Go to the museum and join the queue for “Voucher” or “Group Priority”, do not join the “Ticket” queue which is what we did for an hour only to be told to re-queue. Once you get your tickets, it should be a combi/joint ticket so you can use them at both venues. Eg: if you started at the museum, you can use the same ticket at the imperial treasury and vice versa. It’s not “skip the queue” but it is a shorter line for voucher / group priority.

museum very interesting, full of important royal possessions. very dark but welcoming cashier staff, warm environment and wi-fi available
