Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra awaits you at the Palace Orangery where Mozart himself performed in 1786. The concert is a fine selection of masterful music by Mozart and Strauss, rounded off by vocal performances. Since the establishment of the Schoenbrunn Palace Concerts, the daily performances of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra play an essential role in Vienna's cultural and musical life. At the Orangery Schoenbrunn, a place rich in tradition, the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra and the Schoenbrunn Palace Ensemble perform the most beautiful tunes of the classic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss. On selected dates, the concerts take place in the Great Gallery or in the White-Gold Room directly in the Palace, in the Schönbrunn Palace Theatre or other concert halls in Vienna.

The show was excellent. However the viator tickets misrepresented that tickets need to be collected before 6pm for 8.30pm show. That is not the case. Unnecessary back and forth we were made to do.

Well worth doing once in a lifetime. An entertaining concert with an excellent soprano; even the 'frothy' second half of Strauss et al was more enjoyable than expected! The chamber orchestra produced a surprisingly rich sound. A bonus was that the concert was held in the Great Gallery with it's painted ceilings and white/gold decor; a location, we think, more palatial than the Orangery would be. Our only criticism is that for those concerts held in the Great Gallery, the information provided on ticket collection is inaccurate.

Ostermontagskonzert in der Orangerie, es war ein bezaubernder Abend. Die VIP-Tickets sind top umgesetzt: CD, erste Reihe und ein kleiner Trunk in der Pause. Herzlichen Dank!
