I really have to ask myself what we paid so much money for here. Especially as a student, 30€ per person is not small at all. That's what you end up with nothing in your hands. You rush 2h through Vienna without having had the time to look at the places you pass in peace. We even had to Google the last answers so we wouldn't be late and our "caregiver" wouldn't have to wait for us. As a tourist, I had a slightly different idea of a puzzle rally, which according to the website promises that you "discover the city interactively."
After the tour we asked our "supervisor" if we could at least take the task sheets with us so that we can follow the route again tomorrow. The answer here was: either write to the office again and ask for a summary or simply search Google for Vienna and myths . I thought I wasn't hearing properly. If I can Google the route so easily, I wonder here again why I booked this tour. I would have been more happy if you could hear the summary right away, if you are not allowed to take the tasks with you for copyright reasons.
What I didn't like at all about this was the one question where you had to go to church to get the answer. Unfortunately, during our game there was just a mass at the time. I thought it was very inappropriate that we were more or less forced to run in there and disturb.
Speaking of the questions, unfortunately the questionnaire was not entirely accurate. Likewise, the two pens that were in the bag with in it did not actually write either.
Even if we were only two people, no group photo was taken of us, as will also be taken to the website.
The highlight of the tour was of course the included "treasure chest filled with Viennese delicaciesN" as promised on the website. We were allowed to choose a little sweet at the end. When I look at the prices in the store for the sweets, I get more and more horrified. 1 kg of the Viennese sugar I get for 12,99€. If I now extrapolate this to the little Bobon, it is not to be put in any proportion at all in the framework of 30€ for participation for one person. Here the website is very misleading. Maybe, for the sake of honesty, you should write to her to let her choose a little thing from the treasure chest. Then the participants will not be disappointed if they are allowed to choose only a small piece of sugar (for 30€!?).
The way this rally is designed, unfortunately I cannot recommend this tour to anyone who comes to Vienna as a tourist and wants to get to know another side of the city. Also, I can't imagine participating in a tour where I have to rush through the city where I live to answer the questions and can't learn or see anything at all.
