During this tour you will visit 2 places. Blue Grotto where you will have a chance to do a boat ride for an extra charge and see the fantastic caves and Marsaxlokk fishing village where you can eat a delicious fish lunch or also buy fish and many more items from the market. Market is not available on the 4th August 2024 since there will be the Village's Feast at Marsaxlokk. We still spend 90 minutes at Marsaxlokk, one can see the celebrations, eat something and look and take pictures of the marvellous boats.

  • Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja), Zurrieq, Malta
    You will first drive to the Blue Grotto. The Blue Grotto is actually a number of sea caverns on the southern coast of Malta, west of the Wied iz-Zurrieq harbour and across the small uninhabited islet of Filfla. Everyday from sunrise until about 1300 hrs, a unique sight can be observed here. The cave’s location combined with the sunlight lead to the water mirroring shows numerous shades of blue. Several caverns mirror the brilliant phosphorescent colours of the underwater flora; other caverns show a deep dark shade of blue. If weather permits, you can do a 25 minute boat trip around the caves for an extra cost.

  • Sunday Fish Market, Marsaxlokk, Malta
    Marsaxlokk is a very popular attraction for tourists and locals because fresh fish and seafood caught during the same morning can be bought. The market is very interesting and attractive as many different items are sold. Although the market was originally a fish market, it has developed and now it also sells locally produced honey, fruit jams, wine as well as vegetables, souvenirs and clothes. Free time will be given in this picturesque village.

Beautiful blue water. Pickup at hotel was good. Knowledgeable and nice guy. Recommended tour in Malta. Return trip - t as the coach that goes to Vallleta - to spend rest of the day.

Memorabile il giro in barca alla Blue Grotto e bella l’esperienza al mercato di Marsaxlokk. La guida molto esaustiva e parlava bene l’italiano.

Three buses left for the same route. Two of them rather new, but the one we got was at most from the 90s. The seats we're either broken or damaged, no AC and besides that the Bus seemed completly overwhelmed with the entire Journey.
