About this tour
After the ferry crossing to Gozo, the guide will take you to the first location: The basilica of Ta' Pinu. The basilica is a national shrine and located on the edge of a cliff in an open countryside. Because of the unique location, you're not only able to enjoy the basilica, but also the beautiful views of the area. Continuing the trip you will visit the Azure Window, a natural arch featuring a table-like rock over the sea. And close by you can also see the other famous sights: The Inland Sea & Dwejra Bay.
If you are interested in local products and want to get in touch with local people, the Crafts Centre is a must to go to! Here you will find stone works, local lace, marble and traditional food. The perfect place if you want to get a keepsake of the beautiful island Gozo.
The last stop on this tour is Victoria, the capital of Gozo. In the center of the city you will find the Cittadella, a small fortified town, which is on Malta's tentative list of future World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In the capital you will also visit an old prison and the court of justice. After this visit you will stop for lunch in a restaurant in Victoria. On your way back you will drive to Mgarr Port via Qala Belvedere where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Finally you will take the ferry back to Malta and return to your hotel.
