I rated this as okay. This was the second time I have done this trip . The first was great,but we only had about 30 people so was much easier for the guide to control. This time we had 50 in the group. It was too many. Everything took too long. Getting off the coach,walking to places. This meant everything was rushed. We never really had much time in many places to really take all the information in. Lunch was a self service affair this time. Food was okay, but again we only had 45 minutes to enjoy a 3 course lunch so all again rushed. BUT my biggest problem was on our journey home. We were supposed to be dropped off at our hotel. Because we were staying in Valletta, the coach was too big to enter the city, which I totally understand. But they knew how many people would be returning to Valletta. They picked up 16 people in total so would drop off 16. But the guide was unsure how we would get back. He was waiting to hear from office as to what the situation was. Eventually he said we would meet up with a smaller minibus which would take us the remainder of the journey. Great... except 16 people , but just 15 seats. This meant one elderly lady had to sit on a strangers lap, with no seat beat which was a bit worrying as several roads were very bumpy!!. Would not recommend this trip.
