Mario has to be one of the most engaging tour guides I've ever had. The tour was filled with informative stories of Vallettas old, and even more up to date gruesome histories. Mario has mastered the knack for story telling, with the delivery of them giving an awe of suspense and drama. Whether you're interested in history or stories to add depth to your visit to Malta I 100% recommend joining his dark history tour. You won't be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of going on one of Mario's Dark History of Malta Walking Tours during our visit to Malta. It was most definitely a highlight of our visit. His tour lasted just over 2 hours and it brought us all over Valetta. We wound our way through the streets visiting places that had a dark past. Many of these are spots you could easily walk by if you didn't know about them! Mario really knows his stuff and each stop led you perfectly to the next one in a seamless way, as if you were reading a book about it all! It was brilliant from start to finish and if you miss this when you visit the Valetta area, you'll regret it!
