The Three Cities is a collective description of
the three fortified cities of Cospicua, Vittoriosa
and Senglea. During the tour you will drive
past Cospicua, you will then arrive in Vittoriosa. The third city Senglea is also called Civitas Invicta because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of 1565.
You will then drive to the 1743 ir-Razzett l-Antik Qormi. The wine
tasting tour commences with a historical introduction amongst
original artefacts, followed by an explanation about the process of
how the locally grown grapes are pressed, fermented and eventually
transformed into wine. The wine sampling is held in the restaurant, where trained staff guide guests through a wine tasting session to sample different Maltese wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries like Maltese bread and cheese.
Tour on Tuesday is available in English, French, German & Italian.
Tour on Friday is available just in English

Cospicua (Bormla), Cospicua (Bormla), Malta During the tour you will drive past Cospicua, a double fortified harbor city and the largest of the three. It was also given a title as Citta’ Cottonera, but erroneously the title is now used to define the whole region. You will then arrive in Vittoriosa.
Vittoriosa Waterfront - Birgu Waterfront, Malta Vittoriosa is ideally situated for safe anchorage and over time it has developed a very long history with maritime, mercantile and military activities. Prior to the establishment of Valletta as capital and main city of Malta, military powers that wanted to rule the Maltese islands would need to obtain control of Vittoriosa due to its significant position in the Grand Harbour. The third city Senglea is also called Civitas Invicta because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of 1565. The name Senglea was given by the grandmaster who built it, Claude De La Sengle. The island on which Senglea lies was joined by a land bridge to Cospicua during the time of the Knights of St. John and as a result, it became peninsular in shape. During this tour you will walk through the various narrow streets shaded by many historic churches and buildings.

Excellent guide. Loved the walk around the 3 cities. Wine tasting was great too. Only annoying part was that we were picked up in Valletta then went in the opposite direction to pick other people up. It therefore took 1 hour 20 mins to get there but only 20 mins to come back direct!!!!

The pick up and drop off was good - we went into it with low expectations, given that we had seen other negative reviews about the pick up/drop off process. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the clarity/timing of the process and it was nice not to have to worry about transportation. The guide was super nice, professional, and knowledgeable. The wine tasting portion of the trip was pleasantly surprising, given that there was a substantial amount of food and the place was nice/authentic, with a knowledgeable sommelier. The biggest drawback was the dual language tour. Do NOT promise an English guided tour and then make the customer sit through both English and German translations. This made it hard to follow the information the guide was providing and created this lethargy in the group, as we were waiting extra time for everything to be explained. Also, the guide focused heavily on one period of Maltese history and it would’ve been nicer to get a broader perspective, including a history of the unique Maltese architecture. Overall, a nice experience, but they have some work to do.
