So many exciting activities are possible in two days and one night excursion in Amazon. As we were looking for a 1 night tour with seeing as much as possible - this tour suited us very well. Tour organizer Milton Fernandes was very helpful. We were glad to meet tour guide Fabio, we learned a lot about the Amazon forest, changes between the dry and rainy seasons, got acquainted with flora and fauna (a bit :) ), etc. His sister was preparing simple, but very delicious food. We wish him all the best with his plans! So, if you have just a couple of days for Amazon and want to see what is possible, this tour is for you.

Overall I had a great experience exploring the Amazon and the Rio Negra with very informative and attentive guides, ‘swimming’ with the pink dolphins was a highlight and we were fortunate enough to see a three toed sloth on our jungle hike. The accomodation was basic but comfortable and the food was great. I do think that there were areas where information was lacking, for instance it would have been good to be given a bit of a ‘lesson’ on the pink dolphins (I didn't even know they existed until this trip), the same goes for the fish farm on the second day ie. the kind of fish, what the farm does, where the fish go etc. we were basically just given rods with the fish attached, some safety instructions and let loose! It also would have been helpful if the driver who picked me up from my hotel explained a bit more about what was happening, I felt like I was being driven into the middle of nowhere, other passengers were dropped off randomly and I was continuing on, as a solo traveller, it would have been reassuring to know exactly what was happening.

Guides were good. However, there was a disconnect in pickup at the end of first day to take us to the lodge for the night and we had to wait for a long time when we were told max. 20 minutes wait. Jungle walk was not too exciting - no animals except one sloth and a tarantula. Maybe better location is needed.
