What a fantastic day with Radu - very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, punctual guide (and a good driver as well!). The tour itself was amazing and the churches and countryside so beautiful. We had a delicious lunch too. Would definitely recommend this tour with Radu, the area of Romania is a must see.

All the way from New Zealand, I had the most delightful experience trekking with Radu. I totally enjoyed Radu's leadership and friendship. He is such a Natural in this role. He took great care of us in a casual but effective manner. Never got upset with us. Patient. And a great sense of humour. Just a darn good friend to be with. Full of knowledge & resources. Amending our schedule/itinerary to suit the inclement weather. Trying to avoid the mud and the rain. What fun!? We discovered so many intimate moments of the lives of the Romanian country folk. Full of homemade goodness & colour. Quaint & a step back in time. Fascinating, all of it !! Thank you Radu ! The memories will remain with me forever with the help of a million photos !

I have no hesitation in recommending Radu as a guide to places and activities in Maramures. I have recently been on a group walking tour of both Maramures and Bucovina with Radu as the guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history and the cultures of these areas. He was able to convey this knowledge in an engaging and understandable manner. Radu took great care to ensure our every need was met and always acted promptly on any request we made. He is great company and very easy to get along with. I can recommend Radu as your guide on your discovery of Maramures.
