Do yourself a favor and go to Morocco. Morocco is beautiful and the people are friendly and engaging. Wanderlust Voyages planned our perfect 11 day tour. We were a family traveling together with ages ranging between 1 1/2 year old to a 65 year old. We had our own little mini bus that accommodated a car seat and the rest of us comfortably. Our driver Laken, drove us through high Mountain passes, miles of farm land, and to the Sahara Desert with skill and safety always on his mind. Our English speaking Moroccan guide Hassan Amraoui was incredible. He put our whole group at ease and was so willing to share his knowledge and love of his country with us. Hassan always was positive, attentive, and helpful. Every day on our 11 day trip we were all so excited to wake up and see what the day would bring and Hassan and Laken made our experience incredible.
Highlights: People, food tour, beautiful accommodations, camel ride, glamping in the desert, the blue city Chefchaouen, world heritage sites, waterfalls, monkeys, and getting to learn about Morocco, it's people, and culture.
Tips: Yes, tips( tipping with money) Wanderlust Voyages when we booked sent out important information about Tipping in Morocco. Make sure you read all the information they send you. You truly do tip for just about everything ranging from using the toilet's, baggage handling, and local town guides when your normal guide isn't with you. Be prepared with coins and smaller bank notes/paper money for these situations. Our group found it easiest if one person paid the tips for the whole group and then we paid each other back. That way we could use bigger bank notes/paper money and keep our coins for toilets, street food and other items.
Conclusion: Go to Morocco and use Wanderlust Voyages. They planned everything out with perfect details.
