From Casablanca : 8Days 7Night Tour To North & Desert Adventure

Wonderful trip across the country from Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Dades Valley, Marrakech and everything in between with Karim and Mohammed. They were very patient with all the shopping and photo stops we requested.

To start, I am a female teacher from the United States traveling with another female teacher friend to Morocco for the first time. I was a little hesitant when she suggested we visit Morocco at first, but after hearing about her communication with Starry Tours I was feeling much better. His communication was quick and easy to understand. We planned a 10 day trip through Morocco (Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fez, Merzouga-Sahara desert camp out, Dades Valley, Marrakech, and Essaouira) and Starry Tours included multiple stops for panoramic views and tours about Moroccan trades and Berber life along the drive from city to city. We also added airport pick up the day before we flew out. Upon arrival Yassine was waiting for us and helped bring our bags to the 10 person van. There was plenty of room, AC, and we could plug in our phones to charge/play music. I was really impressed with his punctuality through out the whole tour! Driving in Morocco doesn’t look easy and he made us feel safe the whole time. He really goes above and beyond to make sure his clients feel comfortable and well taken care of. He answered our questions throughout the trip and introduced us to local guides in Fez, Tinghir, and Marrakech. He took us to feed monkeys and stopped whenever we wanted to take pictures. We learned about the Berber lifestyle, pottery and ceramics, the making of traditional rugs, and visited the tanneries. The highlight of my trip was the camel trek into the Sahara desert to spend the night under the stars. It was a 45 minute ride into the desert and enjoyed luxury styled camping. The dinner was great, the accommodations we’re so nice, and watching shootings stars across the sky on the dunes was a dream come true.

I did a ton of research to prepare for this trip and Starry Tours was the best price for the quality of service provided. They organize everything and take care of the transportation. We simply had to pay a small Prepayment and paid upon arrival. This was great! The riads/hotels are nice and clean. If you are lucky enough to get Yassine as your driver, he’s thorough, punctual and very hospitable. He went out of his way to make us feel safe and comfortable (we are two young women travelers). The camel ride into the Sahara is the best part and is 5 stars. The accommodations are amazing, the food is great and the camels are fun to ride!
