    The Ouzoud Falls - Cascades d'Ouzoud - are 110 m high which makes it the second tallest waterfall in Africa. It’s a huge touristic destination and one of the most visited and photographed natural sites in all of Morocco. It stands atop of the Azilal region of Morocco, overlooking the Tanaghmeilt village. The waterfalls empty into the El-Abid River (Slaves' River). The word ‘Ouzoud’ was said to be Berber for ‘the act of grinding grain.’ Apparently, a lot of the buildings there happened to be grinding mills which probably utilizing the force of the water.

The trip started on schedule. The driver showed up at the agreed-upon rendezvous location. A guide was bringing us to the Ozud waterfall and providing us with information about the local culture and geography. There was risky, adrenaline-fueled trekking involved, and the view is breathtaking. The boat ride was amazing and well-planned (at the cascade and it is optional).The tour leader will suggest a restaurant with a panoramic view up on a hill for lunch. If the guide goes above and beyond in an overcrowded scenario, the restaurant service will only be satisfactory.
