    Pass through the famous Bab Agnaou gate near the palace and into the Kasbah to soak in the history of Marrakech. Stop at a spice shop in this part of town to learn more about how natural products are used in the everyday lives of the Moroccan people and also the history of these products. From here you will make a stop at the most popular street vendor for hirira to taste this hearty Moroccan soup.

We were not quite sure what to expect and one of us is not a regular cyclist. Our guide, Mohammed L, gave us clear, instructions on cycling in Marrakech. It was a great experience to see Marrakech as the evening descended whilst learning from his local knowledge. His jokes were funny too! We stopped at restaurants and a street soup kitchen which we would never have visited on our own. The freshly cooked local food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome by all. By the end we were experts on cycling in Marrakech's busy roads and quiet and intriguing back alleys. No upset tummies the next day. Highly recommended.
