Includes a nice 30 minute camelride in the riverbed of Oued Ghighaya. In the Berber villages of the High Atlas a new world will open for you. There is a world of a difference between Europa and Marrakesh and there is a world of a difference between Marrakesh (the big city) and the small Berber villages high up in the Atlas Mountains. You will be impressed by beautiful nature and the hospitality of the Berber people. Life is simple high up in the mountains their friendlyness is so warm that you do not need anything more. Our local Berber guide will show you the nicest walking path to a smal waterfall. Lunch is in a Berber familyhome. On the way back to Marrakesh your special day excursion will be completed with a 30 minute camelride; join the fun. At the highest point of the walk you will have a breathtaking view over the Berber valleys. Of course, there is enough time for taking pictures and your guide will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

Imlil is a perfect destination for hiking in Morocco. For many hikers it is the start for climbing the highest mountain in Morocco: Jebel Toubkal. The valley around Imlil is suitable for easy walking to; for example to he Imlil waterfall.

Bijzondere excursie, de groep is meestal kleinschalig. Wij waren met z'n 2-en. Schitterend en gastvrij en zeer smaakvol in alle opzichten! Heel vriendelijke lokale gids. Bij hem thuis dan ook heerlijk gegeten. Ik was wat slecht ter been maar ook daar doen ze hun best voor. Niets is te gek.

yesterday we had a great excursion with Radouane to the Atlas Mountains. It was a very varied day with a visit to the weekly market, a nice walk and lunch with a Berber family! Along the way beautiful stops with fantastic views and a camel ride for those who want. Radouane was a very caring guide and he shared many personal things about growing up in the mountains. Highly recommended!
