After breakfast in your riad, you will leave Fes travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco" and then on to Midelt. During this journey, you'll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco - where you may well sight Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas, after Midelt town you will be traveling through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you'll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia,. Afterward, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.

Bellissimo tour in compagnia di Zaccaria, guidatore esperto e simpatico. Abbiamo visto posti dispersi in mezzo alla natura in piena sicurezza e comodità. Abbiamo alloggiato in hotel bellissimi e lussuosi in mezzo al deserto con persone veramente contente e competenti di suonare i tamburi. Sicuramente da rifare!

We had a very nice experience with Aisha Morocco Tours. We booked a 3-day tour from Fes to Marrakech. Unfortunately, we had to end the tour early to beat rapidly-developing COVID travel restrictions (Nov 2021). The company and Hakim (our driver) were very accommodating with trying to salvage the trip. Hakim met us at our riad the night prior to our trip and helped plan out a modified 2-day trip so that we could catch our rescheduled flight from Marrakech. We were able to do day 1 of the tour (Fes to Merzouga) and stay overnight in the desert. The drive was very nice with plenty of picturesque stops along the way in the mountains. The camel ride and stay in the tents were also a very memorable experience! We were pleasantly surprised with the high-quality accommodations (large, private tent with showers and solar power). The next day, we woke up to see the sunrise and took a 4x4 ride out of the desert and drove to Marrakech. The drive was long (as expected, since we were cutting the trip short), but we were able to stop at some of the stops along the tour (e.g., Ait-Ben-Haddou). The most memorial parts of the day were driving through the Atlas mountains and the local places to stop for food. All-in-all the tour was good. I’m sad we weren’t able to experience the whole trip, but was very pleased with how accommodating the tour company and Hakim were. (Also huge thanks to Hakim for the long 2-day drive with snow in the mountains!)
